Positioning What3Words as the must-have app for Brits

What3Words is the location tech company changing the way we speak about addressing. They have created a global addressing system by splitting the world into 3x3m squares and labelling each one with its own unique 3 words – a 3-word address.

Our team was tasked with driving awareness of the What3Words brand by developing a summer campaign that would effectively place What3Words as the app that everyone needs to have downloaded. To do so we strategically landed widespread coverage in a range of national and regional media, with a focus upon community and technology. Our team also curated specific media materials that were carefully tailored to each audience. This included five individual press releases, each with unique case studies, as well as facts and stats aimed at different regional areas; National, Wales, South West, Yorkshire and East Midlands.
